필리핀 아가페인 ARP의 타크로반에서 사역하는 글로리아로부터 온 편지입니다. 참 열심히 사역하시는 분인데 작년에 교통사고로 목사님 남편이 돌아가시고 아들과 같이 사역하고 계십니다. 아가페학생들이 단기선교를 간 적도 있어서 아시는 분들도 계실 것입니다.

Dear Partners in Ministry,
As Hesedel and I welcomes 2007, GOD has to deal with me right at the eve of New Year. No preparations and we slept at around 8pm. The Lord woke me up and started to spend time with Him and the Lord through His words begin to place burdens upon me on how He wants to use me for 2007. Just keep on writing, praising God and feel His heartbeat. He impressed to me these things: PRAYER; TRAINING, EXPANSION. of course, I began to question GOD, how will I do it, besides am a woman and a widow am getting weaker physically because of excruciating headache . We are only on the 2nd month of the year bbut God is beginning to unfold:
January 10 up to present we are on the 6th week of traininng of trainers for community development education for holistic health community development.
viz a viz because of lack of manpower, I begin to pray for students who wiill be willing to be trained and serve as our volunteer staff. I ask for two students but GOD gave us four. These are students who will work like special force in military. We only have one full time campus staff and i due time these students can work with us.
January 4, (hesedel's 8th bday) I submitted a proposal to the ministerial fellowship adopting 40 days of prayer for our city, region and nation. The Lord had already dictated to me that new Year's eve the rationale, mechanics and strategy. today february 15 the start of 'HAWAK-KAMAY TACLOBAN 2007. a call to pray... (hawak-kamay means to hold hands together) each church/ organization gave a contribution of at least 200 pesos for the admin expense. on the 40th day there will be culmination at Tacloban Astrodome and from feb. 15 to march 25 every participating organization will visit a local governmment unit in Tacloban to read a scripture and pray.
On the sides, the Lord gave me couples annd wives to minister. I felt inadequate but God is the one giving me wisdom on words to say, especially the listening ear.
PLEASE PRAY FOR THE FOLLOWING:
1. sustained commitmment of interccessors up to day 40 on march 25, 2007.
2. TOT (training of trainers) as we select the best communnity to adopt
3. provision for ministry computer set. our PC since 1995 bogged down last year.
4. Hesedel can finish this school year and can be enrolled still. May he grow as a morally responsible child
5. pray for our regular ministry and personal support. May the Lord touch the heart of the owner of the house not to increase the rent again. I will negotiate next week.
6. Mission trip to China , myanmar and cambodia for this year.
7. I was task to prepare a curriculum for medical clerks in their 8th week community medicine rotation. pray for wisdom on how i can place moral values to it.
8. complete healing and a small growth and nodes in the brain miraculously be removed.
