REPORT FROM SAM

Thank you so much for your faithfulness of being a partner to fulfill the great commission in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Cambodia. Your hard work is not in vain. Thank you also for your prayer for me. I know that without prayer I could not stand here today to be an instrument of God.

I believe that God bless UHS ministry so much and this is a place to start a new history of medical team in Cambodia. I believe that this team will impact the whole nation one day for sure by what we are doing now.

I can say wholeheartedly that you are the most invest with this team so far.

Now God gives me another opportunity to serve Him, is to be a National Coverage Director. So one hand, I am working with medical students and another working with Coverage Ministry.

I would like to share to you my dream that I am willing to die for.

More than working with UHS students,

Now I have 13 staff working in Kampong Cham province.

In my team I divided into 2 teams: Jesus Film Team and Church Planting Movements Team.

We are showing Jesus Film from one village to another. After showing Jesus Film, those who decide to pray receive Christ we make a contact to meet them in the next morning for follow up by using our materials.

We try to set as group teaching twice a week.

Jesus Film staff still going forward, but they still come back in day time to follow up them until the CPM (Church Planting Movements) team come after to train and select group leader among them to lead these team.

They are growing and protecting by the Holy Spirit because there is no pastor yet there, just a new leader rose up among them. My strategy is to focus on building this leader as much as possible in order they are able to lead God’s people in his team.

I provide the training twice a year to these cell group leaders and children teachers. But weakly I have to train them as small group from different places in this province.

Now there are 16 home churches taking place in this area with around 50 members each during 4 or 5 months.

All the staff are in the field day and night. In 3 month they are allowed to visit family for 1 week. They are very committed to the calling of God even with very small salary that can’t survive family at all (some are single and some are married).

Our office is the house of the village. We move from one house to another.

Why do I choose the province first?

Because it is commercial province in Cambodia to provide all over the country the agriculture need. So the people in this province have a good reputation and influence to the entire. That’s why it is a strategic place to reach out first.

I want to use these cellgroups to be a blessing for this nation.

I want to see all of them standing up bringing the peace and development to this country.

That’s why they have to be well equipped spiritually and physically.

· Spiritual:

o They are not just a Christian at the church but they are the movement agency.

o They are responsible to change their community by the word of God.

o They are responsible to Great Commission because I want to see in this generation God will change Cambodia and then God will send Cambodian people out to the end of the world as well.

· Physical:

o I want to see God using them to bless non-believers by their good work

o I plan to train each cell group any training related to their need through this they are able to survive their member living style and a kind of developing their community.

o I need as much as possible the medical clinics

o I plan to have at least one medical service center in one province as needed in Cambodia.

o All this kind will provide a good service with Cambodian Medical students and Medical doctors to serve the poor and needed people in the province.

This is what I want to see all of congregations live by themselves and also they will be able to support all my staff from their fruits as well.

I believe that God will use this strategy to move Cambodian people to Him in this generation.

In Cambodia, one show at least 2-300 people watching Jesus Film.

The harvest is plentiful but he workers are few.

Our prayer request:

- Pray for the protection. Because we are working at night and facing many dangers. Sometime stones, gun, stick and sometimes the guys block our way.

- Pray that God will send more workers because it is a hot force so not many people are willing to join us.

- Pray that the Holy Spirit will protect new believers in His peace and safe.

- Pray that I have wisdom from God to facilitate HUS and Coverage Ministry. It is very big for me since now I am raise up Bunhap to be a student President to lead this movement.

I will try to make an album for you when you arriving Cambodia. And I think that this is a good opportunity for any churches to involve with this plan as well.

This is a big plan but now I starting with my empty hands so please pray for me.

And this is my urgent need that you can pray for me.

I am traveling thousand kilometers go and back so I need a safe transportation. And for my team as well because now they are using motorbike to carry all instruments some time on the field rice so it is hard for us during raining season. And also it is not safe for us.

So I need budget at least 19000USD.

It is a big amount but I think that God will provide for His plan.
